This past season of course saw Nike change things up when it came to Chelsea’s colours on the road.Rather than the white, yellow or black of years gone by, the Pensioners were fitted with a light blue design, featuring a zig-zagged pattern.

The jersey was met with something of a mixed response on the part of the club’s fanbase, many of whom had seemingly hoped for a more simple design.

And, if the aforementioned first photos of Chelsea’s predicted away kit for the 2021/22 campaign are anything to go by, then such supporters are unlikely to be overly thrilled with Nike’s latest efforts, either.

As showcased below, the capital giants look set to pull on a striking yellow shirt on the road next season.

A series of black horizontal lines will feature across the jersey’s front, accompanied by black sleeve cuffs and a collar of the same colour.The reliable Footy Headlines, though, have since added a slight modification, revealing a more natural ‘Opti’ yellow, as showcased in the image below:
