A movie set in another universe certainly deserves some out of this world kicks. That’s exactly what the Lakers star will be rocking, as his Space Jam 2 shoes with Nike were revealed to the public. Here’s a first look, coming from ESPN reporter Nick DePaula:Noticeable on the shoe are the names written, Darius, Dom, Xosha, and Kamiyah, along with #JamesGang. These are the names of the fictional family James has in the movie, which revolves around the struggle the Lakers star has with his son Dom.


The second installment of the basketball classic, originally starring Chicago Bulls icon Michael Jordan, has fans buzzing over how well they can follow up the beloved first edition. The Lakers star teams up with the Looney Tunes cast once again, taking on an even more dangerous threat than the little guys from Moron Mountain.


The movie is set to premier in theaters on July 16, 2021. The movie will also be released on HBO Max, a full month after its initial showing. Lakers fans may not have the playoffs to watch LeBron James, but they can at least look forward to some action from the king.The NBA All-Star Game might have looked a little different this year, but the on-court kicks still delivered a string of fresh colourways and Player Exclusives.


Giannis Antetokounmpo turned in an MVP performance, leading Team LeBron to a 170-150 victory over Team Durant, rocking a pair of mismatched Nike Zoom Freak 2s, while Jaylen Brown paid homage to his mentor Tracy McGrady with his own mismatched Adidas sneakers.
