Madden NFL 23 refs go back to work, and new refs make history as replacements

It's official now: real refs are back this week, and the deal in itself isn't that important. The most important thing is that the most funnier controversy of 2012 is now past, and the entire country of football fans can return to its regularly scheduled issues of the day, including analyzing Jay Cutler's body language and disliking the Patriots.

Wasn't the experience enjoyable when it was on? With good refs, we could watch football for touchdowns and tackles, as well as beast mode running backs. But what happens when refs are bad? It's impossible to tell! There could be a disastrous pass interference call that completely alters the whole game, and even triggers a riot. Maybe we'll witness Bill Belichick losing on a controversial field goal, and then arguing with a ref. The replacements were just one-upping themselves, until the very end, when they made a mistake with the greatest astonishment possible. We'll think back to this crazed month for years to come.
